Call for Semantic Web Jam Session

Call for jammers for the ISWC2013 Semantic Web Jam Session

As typical in computer science communities, several researchers play music at a good amatorial or semi-professional level, and are unashamedly willing to show their skill in their community ;). For that reason, we launch a call for musicians in the Semantic Web community that are going to attend ISWC 2013 in Sydney, and want to participate in a jam session around social dinner time on the 24th of October. There is an Indaba page [1] to prepare the jam with suggestions on tunes to jam on (we guess the best style would be blues/funk/soul jazz, but feel free to suggest anything interesting), instrument availability, etc.

Please reply to Aldo Gangemi (gangemi ]at[ mac.com) either by email or (preferred) on Indaba to suggest your availability, instrument, preferred tunes, etc. On a more scientific side, a joint event will be possibly organized with the 1st International Workshop on Semantic Music and Media. There will be some time to rehearse a bit before the jam.
